A locally rebodied Hindustan Trekker taxi is seen here. Quite a rare sight now. Come to think of it, it was a rare sight earlier too!

These HM Treckers still ply in Jharkhandh, Bihar and are quite popular as jeep taxis.

This model was phased out by Tata Motors around 1976-77. So it is about 35years old. While that's a tribute to the vehicle's longivity, I wonder how the owner manages to get it passed from RTO authorities. MV Rules don't permit plying of CVs older than 15 years, isn't it?

That's either Jaisalmer or Jodhpur can't remember today had gone for some art hunting with the Mrs in some bylane . Have lots of snaps of it will dig it out

Ever heard of Lafly trucks? They were French, did a lot of military lorries, and their diesel trucks were advertised in Hindi in India. Never heard of them before this. British and American trucks like Albion, Mack were seen, but not French trucks like this.

A Tata Mercedes Benz truck from the late 1960's. MHV is an Amravati registration but this one was seen in Satara dist.
