These advertisements are from TIME magazine. The Mercedes ad is from 1966 and so is the International Scout.
The Bajaj Chetak advertisements are from 1975 and 1978 respectively. The tail light of the 1975 Chetak was planted into the Bajaj 150 in the late 1970's.The Chetak then got a new taillight.

@Anjan - This is the first time I'm seeing a print ad of the International Scout 800. This particular brand finds very little web presence, and I don't think outside the US anyone even recalls them.

The Scout trucks, built by International Harvester, were true competitors to the Jeeps used for hardcore utility purposes. They used the same Dana 44 axles as the Jeep. This particular 800 model was launched in 1965.

Whoa!!! Pramod!!! You've got some serious pics man!!! So would you be able to give the whole lot I ask for? Thanks thanks thanks thanks...

See the way the ads have been in US on Mustangs, Ford compared to that in Italy & India; infact, Italy & India seems to be almost the same.

US ads comes like a big story; do you've a similar write-up of any motorcycles, I mean, Norton, Triumph, HD or Indian?
