I have an opportunity to buy a group of 4 cars from a collector friend of ours...

Chevy Fleetmaster (47 or so)
VW 55 ragtop
Rover P3 (48 or 49)
Rover 12

I've only seen the VW before. Will go have a look at the others. I've no idea what to offer. I'd appreciate any info on what a reasonable offer would be for each. The VW is a runner but probably needs a frame-off work. I've heard the others are in better more restored condition.

Anyone seriously interested in joining me can pm me. My guess is this will not be a cheap buy.

buddy would have loved to join you but whenever you do go there, pl get us some pics. If the price is right i would love to pick the VW ragtop anyways to make a reasonable offer one has to first get to see the car inside out including under the hood. Pl post pics and prices he expects.

If the Beetle is indeed a 55, (with oval rear windscreen) that makes it a rare car, and if it is a genuine Ragtop, its even rarer. Pics would be highly appreceated!

That's what got me interested and why I had approached him. But I was told that the car was already spoken for so didn't think much about it after that. Then got a call last night. It is genuine oval and looked genuine rag top though will have to have a better look next time.

I've got a lot of pm's. Let me go get more info/pics first and then will get back.

Apparently not willing to sell separately. 14lakh for the 4. But, I've not had a chance to follow up.
