Re: Classics in Trivandrum

Not really a classic, but still guys maybe able to help.
Anyone know of a LHD '81 model Toyota Cressida in the city?
Remember seeing one 5 years back in Muttada near a church. Or atleast workshops that work on imports in Thiruvananthapuram so that i can trace it down.
Cheers

Sorry for quoting a very old post first.
The green KLT Mini Moke was owned by Mr Narayanan's father and ne used to bring it to the college. Your post means that Mr Narayanan has sold it and bought one from SriLanka later on. Right?

Wrong!!.The green KLT Morris Mini Moke owned by Narayanans father is still there in Trivandrum with his brother, the Tennis coach.
Narayanan imported a 1983 Model Austin Mini Moke from Colombo in 2007 and that got sold in 2010 to Chennai for 5lakhs.

Re: Classics in Trivandrum

The Buick in one of the earlier posts seems to have fallen on bad times? I think I saw it parked in Ulloor - Keshavadasapuram Rd. The condition was not as mint as seen in the pics.

When did you see it ? It was lying there in the open for a few months in 2011,but as per my info it has disappeared from that location.

Hi Justin,

Did you get the car repainted, or is this a new acquisition? If I remember correctly yours used to be a white/red dual tone with a windshield hood and white walls.

The paintjob looks much more period correct.

And erm... I daresay, compared to the earlier condition, the interior looks awesome right now.

Looking forward to see it at the next meet.
