Beauties At Dharmasthala

One holy trip to Dharmasthala made me see these beauties.

Happy that i saw them, but some of them are on horses,

whats the point in caging them.

They are supposed to be on the road.

Anyways feast you eyes.(Sorry for Average Pics)

My heart cries out to these Skoda, Plymouth and some more beauties lying idle there.

Thats a small portion of a great collection. Most of them are in pretty good shape and running. You cant expect all cars to be driven regularly, it isnt practical.

I was always wondering who this Beetle belonged to...glad i finally found it. The Oval was introduced in mid 53, and the double tip exhaust appeared in 56. So the car is a 53/4/5, with an 80s Mumbai registration.

Yes Karlos

I agree that these cant be driven daily.

But ..........

Anyways will not comment on this.

They are ageing lying there, Something must be done for their upkeep.

Hey buddy PAVAN KADAM,
  1. Its illegal to photograph inside the museum.
  2. BTW all the cars are well maintained.
  3. Its a Vintage Car Museum (museum - depository for collecting and displaying objects having scientific or historical or artistic value)
  4. Where do you want to drive these?

That 50's beetle has no engine inside.
Im telling this by the camber of its rear wheels.
Anyone confirm this?

Dharmastala is in Karnataka. 'Karnataka State' was called 'Mysore State' and hence the registration starts with 'M'.

How to reach: Welcome to Dharmastala
