The parts of the car that Karl picked up from Chor Bazaar belonged to a certain parsee gentlemen staying at Altamount Road (are they all really gentlemen ? -----) and I went to buy it. This was one year back. It was original but too much corroded and beyond any attemptable restoration (Gogibhai - much worse than your special). The price was ridiculous so I came back. I left my contact but alas ----- the chorbazaarwalla must have picked it up for a pittance.

Why does this happen to guys like us ? I wonder. Anyways Karl, best of luck. Use the parts on your car. I am happy that at leat Karl got the parts.

Once again same request ----- Karl, get me a DUKKAR, the aluminium slatted grille walla ----- Pleeeeeeeeeeese !

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Just get a centre light car and graft on the grille Ill give you whatever else is missing.

There are a couple of terrible cars up for grabs. They are asking only 80 and 50k. Transfer the money to my account and collect the car the next day.

The Automotive Chor Bazaar Of Mumbai -All in a days work - An Eulogy

Hello to all - as a part of my hobby of restoring and then maintaining my old Fiat cars, I have visited places like the famous (or rather infamous) Chor Bazaar of Mumbai numerous times. Therefore, I think that this thread will be very informative about the treasures to be found in such places. Let's exchange such information.

Happy "Chor Bazaaring" !

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Visited place near bhindi bazar?
Been there many time but it looks like more of junk yard rather than "chor bazar".Mostly old useless spares are laying down.
