Dear all - saw this car in Nasik yesterday. Unfortunately besides the small headlights, there is nothing left. The gears were floor shift.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Nice finds Dhabhar. the Amby has the SU carburettor and the OHV engine. Also, the owner has affixed the petrol filter leading to the carburettor on a metal bracket.

'can make for a good parts car, as body appears quite decent.

Also I have a feeling I've seen pics. of that MAP red SS80 beside it before, in another thread in this forum!

Dear all - I found this Fiat in Devlali through one of my Parsi friends there, who also has a Fiat. The owner is a very genial retired brigadier. He is the first owner from 1970. The car was originally Mumbai registered and had the original MRF number. He does not remember the numerals. The car went all over India with him before finally landing upin Devlali, hence it is now MH15A592. He uses it very sparingly now, just to go to the local market etc. It was indeed my pleasure to interact with him.

I could not take good angle shots due to cramped parking place.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Neat car. With all the OHH REE G NAL fittings back on it, it'd look all the more appealing. Looks like some of us could help him with our stock of Fiat 1100 parts!

Dear Shyam - for some odd reason, the engine compartment picture is not uploading. I am trying again. Look at it if it uploads now.

Best regards,

Saw this Fiat 600 (with some wrong fittings, but overall a good car) at Nashik, a couple of weeks back.

This beetle has been standing outside the workshop for quite some time. It is on the service road of the highway.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

That is not an Austin. It's a Ford Prefect made by Ford of Britain!

The car is Nagpur registered.

Also it does seem to be a Ford of UK built car.

Cheers!
