Well, the split bus is still there; so also the Yellow bug which is being restored.
There was an Orange Super Bug (1302 I think) with neat bumper overriders. I have not seen this bug before, and sadly the car disappeared by the time I came back a few hours later. So I assume it must be a runner and just in for service.
There were many more vehicles when I visited Prem's 6 months ago. A white Morris Woody, a Fiat 1100, a Super Select but these were all absent this time.
I did not get a chance to talk to Prem during this visit, so I could not ascertain the fate of those cars.

Prem is such a sweet guy, there are quite a few garages in Goa who welcome enthusiast, I was given a free run last time i visited

Yep. It's been at that place for a few years now. Previously used to be green. I think there will be a pic of that colour on this thread.
Last met him in 2011 Nov and that time there were a few scooters in a wooden crate belonging to a foreigner i think. Wasn't there a black Golf in the ground opp his house? Pity he has no one to help him with the garage.

Absolutely right. Nice pics specially to see the ground wet after a drizzle or rain.

Next time you meet him ask him about the Bankamwada available at the restaurant near Pilerne. He'll take you there on his scooter. And tell you a few stories over tea and that. An oldtimer who has seen a lot and has good knowledge.

He once told me a nice story of a motorcycle like mine used by the Portuguese army before the liberation on those twisty roads of verem.

Hi Guys,
I visited the Ashvek "Vintage Car World" at Nuvem, Goa a week ago.
Entry fee : Rs. 100.
Attached are some pics. The place does not look as impressive as it did in 2008 (Page 1 of this thread - Karlos Deville).
Still, it was worth the visit.
There are a lot more cars there now and it is difficult to walk around or even to get between the cars to take good pictures.

The "Munga" actually has two engines and two gear boxes.

Understand from the lady at reception that these cars are all in running condition and are rented out only to companies making movies.

The Merc in the first pic was used in the movie "Sea Wolves" - a large part of which was shot in Goa - If I remember right.

There is a stretched VW Beetle with some of Mario Miranda's paintings on the side, a Standard Herald, a Morris Minor in a terrible state (has just been picked up in Kolhapur and is due for restoration) a Lambretta scooter, a Vijai scooter plus loads more.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Quark 2016, the annual international technology & management festival of BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, which is one of the leading Universities in India. Quark is scheduled from 5th - 7th February, 2016.
