Here is more information to Travancore's post. This was originally sent to me by Raman's which confirms GGR 56 and GGR 81

Mr. N.C.Lakrawallah of Bellasis Road, Byculla, Bombay, ordered two 25/30 h.p. cars:- GGR 56 and GGR 81 a saloon by Thrupp & Maberly. (Body no. 6813), both cars were sold on to one Mr. H.Batliwalla of Bombay.

GGR 56 was shipped to Bombay on the s/s 'Durenda' which sailed on the 14th May 1938. GGR 81 was shipped on 11th June 1938 aboard the s/s 'Dalgoma' to Bombay.

Sorry for my newbie question, but I don't understand the numbers for the PIII.
1. It says that only 719 were produced, but I have seen other posts that say 727 or so were produced.
2. The numbers below don't seem to add up and some numbers are missing. Were there gaps in the chassis numbers?

If the publisher does not want to do it, ask that you get the rights and files back from him and then do it yourself. If he won't give you or can't give you files and you have the original work either electronically (best) or typed (you can scan it and then OCR it) and then upload them.

Please pass this on to all authors on these books that are out of print - there is absolutely no reason that they remain so. If the publisher is deceased or out of business and you have a copy and the rights or the rights are abandoned, you can scan the book. The best and easiest way to scan it is to have the binding cut off and take the pages to a copy service where you do the scanning on an automatic scanner (they don't want to do it since that might be a copyright infringement and don't want to research it or take your word for it, but many will let you do the scanning on their machine). That is the most expensive part, might run you ten to twenty cents per page. But then you have a picture file that an OCR program can use to create a document file - or just use the picture file if you don't want to edit it. Createspace will want a .pdf file anyway, not a document file.

Lets get these out of print books back in print!

And Amazon will allow you to create an online, Kindle book as well.

The royalties you will get in this method far surpass any that a regular publisher will give you and you have complete control.

What do you mean what is my source . The car is in mumbai and regularly participates in rally's and other events . It belongs to Mr Shah. If it belonged to Mr Karnani earlier I will need to check with Him as I don't know that part. It was earlier black in colour.

GAR71 is "WBB-1414" to the best of my knowledge. The pictures I posted showing the Chassis plate were taken at the Statesman Rally 2013

AP 10 D 8044 is GUL74 . Just confirming again and is with Mr Shah as of today . So 100% clear and no confusion

We are speaking of that white and maroon car, aren't we ? And it has vertical flip-flap shutters, Lucas 1130 wing lamps and standard bumpers.
I'll try to sort this out with Gautam.

WBB-1414 (in met. blue, then in dark green) which is shown as GAR71 below has raked flip-flap shutters, Cornercroft wing lamps and bumper over-riders. Therefore AP-10** is not GAR71, but GUL74 which is new to me in India.
My recs show three 25/30HP lim by T&M in India: GAR71, GGR56 (Raman's) and GHO43.

Yes maroon and white one is the car we are talking of . So do inform Gautam that it's GUL 74

This is an image that appeared in a supplement of the Himachal Tourism Board called Hill Post . Appeared in that supplement was an article on the recent Royal News of Faridkot . One of the snaps was this Rolls , which appears to be a pre war wraith . Experts opinions and clarification please

I can guarantee you that there were 727 R-R Phantom III chassis produced, including the 10 experimental cars, seven of which were renumbered and sold.
Chassis series were: EX - 10; AZ - 112; AX - 99; BU - 100; BT - 100; CP - 97; CM - 104; DL - 99; DH - 6.
I have looked at ALL the build records. Some chassis were renumbered from one series to the other.

I think this is WTA47, the Faridkot 1946 Silver Wraith. It appears elsewhere on this forum.
