It is perhaps a fairly recently imported H6C. Chassis 11024 ?

Another "India" car I was ignorant of. Silver Ghost 31ZG, originally a Windovers Cabriolet.

Karl suggests it may have been scrapped at Chor Bazar. Perhaps Harit or Faster789 could fill us in. The registration is early 1940s per Karl.

Photo courtesy of John Fasal / RREC and published in the Bulletin, May 1973.

French Motor Car & Electric Co. Ltd., Calcutta, India were the coach builders of this enclosed Pullman limousine in 1911 on a Silver Ghost. It stands to reason that the car was used in India.

What a lovely shot - its 40 years old! I assume it would have been still unrestored at the time, note the crest on the doors. Later on this car was restored in England and painted bright red.

What do you make of the vertical lines seen on the side windows?

I do not know. Assume the car did not have roll up windows and these are some form of stiffeners perhaps ?

An R-R expert has however identified BRN-6666 as a "Post Chassis 58-SK" PII and therefore unlikely to be Chassis 2-GY.

Tajpur Estate. Likely a Phantom I, with Raja Jasjit Singh. This may have been posted before.
