This one was featured in Society magazine in a 1996 issue. Wonder where tha car is now?

Was there any record of a Bentley Mark VI Standard Steel saloon in Kerala? The RTO records show KLT 4000 as being a "Bailtny Standard" registered in 1954, belonging to one Arunachalam R M. Its just a wild guess.

Interesting. Seems to be a 4 cylinder though per the records.

And also a tourer - I guess it's not likely to be a Standard Saloon after all. But I still wouldn't rule out a Bentley, especially considering the special number.

When in Pune, this car was registered BYH/2829. A Puneri car.....now soooo far away.... in Miami!

Here is the 1937 Bentley 4 1/4 litre #B185HM with Vanden Plas coachwork on display after a long gap. Previously owned by the Raja Sahib of Nilgiri

And here is the car alongside two other VdP bodied Bentleys - the 1935 3 1/2 litre #B50FB, ex Bhavnagar and now part of the Bhogilal collection, recently recommissioned. The other car is the 1938 4 1/4 litre #B64MR, ex Darbhanga

Another couple of shots of #B47EW when seen in the UK by my father and me when the car was offered for sale by Peter Harper. The asking price then was UK £ 45.000 which we thought was too much for a MK VI......you live and learn;-)

This lovely mysore car still has its original pink leather seats and drives beautifully and will soon be joined by a Lancia Lambda
