To me MG's evoke/stir such a powerful emotion of all that's sporty in a car.

Way back in the late sixties we had a British couple living right in front of our house, they had a white MG Midget. The wife actually knew how to drive the car better than her hubby. She invariably pulled harder in each gear and the tiny Midget let out the most delicious roar. Often I accompanied her into town and still remember the smell of leather, top down, wind in the hair...wow...cheers: to the Brits for giving us true blue sportcars

Dad took part in the first all India rally in this car with Addiscot the owner, so many tales! Someday I'll scan all the rally pictures and post.

By the way the Japs outdid the Brits with the Miata, an outstanding car. What a gearbox!!! Ajit we need pictures of your Miata too

Unfortunately I couldnt make it, but am looking forward to a future meet. In the mean time, final year engineering keeps in busy.
