Chassis 660284 previously seen in a couple of Feroze Khan movies is seen again with him at the wheel in 'Main Wohin Hoon' (1966). It shows both plates WBE 7687 and MRZ 5825, I am sure they are the same car given the extra horn grilles welded into the fenders that are still on the car today.

We have heard many times of Ajit's white coloured XK120, and seen on this one picture.

In the 1961 film Opera House he is seen at the wheel of an XK120 roadster in the closing scene, but unfortunately no other part of the car is visible except this shot.



Comparing both images we can now surmise that Ajit's car was a left hand drive XK120 OTS. So we can narrow down the three cars - chassis 670595 (survives in South India), 672830 (I believe exported?) and 673400 (unknown to survive to me).

Over to the experts if we can match it to 672830 - any older (or current) photos of the car? If white colour, with white steering wheel then we have a match.

Both lists start with a XK-150 with different car numbers. Perhaps one of these ?

S827468DN is the Gondal car GCI-9199

S827352 was delivered to dealers Pearey Lal - Cream with Red Interior and Black top. So BMC-7395 is likely this car ?

672830 was LHD; Silver with Blue interior and French Grey top according to this database:

Another find, Ajit in an XK120 but right hand drive. So now I would retract my last statement that his car was probably left hand, we don't know for sure anymore

Here is a new find, some lovely images of a Jaguar XK120 OTS / roadster in period, registered WBD 8472 in Calcutta. Thanks to Indrojit Sircar for sharing the image from his family albums. Can anyone ID the car?

Saw this gorgeous vintage Jag XK at the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria in Melbourne last week.
Didnt know where else to post it.

Great pics! I can't ID this car from these pics. I do not have the registration plate WBD8472 in my records, nor any note of a two tone car like this India. any chance of some more details - e.g. higher res pics of the car so that its details can be seen, details of time and place?

It seems the car was sold in the 1960s to colelctor Goolam Momen, who just recently passed away. He owned some fabulous cars including an E Type.
