if manish asrani had placed his name some where else we could have got a look at the front bumper.

that kind of tank seen on the pearl yamaha is called a "camel tank" may be coz it resembles the hump of a camel , usually seen on dirt bikes and motocross bikes , may be this pearl yamaha was gonna be modded to look like a motocross bike??haha

To satisfy one's curiosity, go to Google and type in chevrolet, 1946. You will see a four door stylemaster sedan. The other two models were fleetmaster, the more expensive of the two models. The highest level was the fleetline which had chrome stripes behind wheel wells front and rear. This is definately a 1946 as the grill structure was completely different in 1947 and different still in 1948. The website above shows pictures (over 2000) of them.

Photographed this car and not sure which one is this ? The photo quality is poor as these were taken from a handphone. Could manage take only these two photos.

That appears to be a fairly rare Chrysler/Plymouth from the 30s. Any more shots? What's the story with the car?

It looks to me, more like a 1930's Dodge sedan,
something similar to this....

Dodge, Plymouth, DeSoto and Chrysler were under the parent Chrysler Corp. By and large their cars were the same with different trim. Note the little styling cues in your Dodge picture like grille and compare with the earlier. It is indeed a Chrysler. A couple of similar cars exist in Hyderabad I think. Their Dodge equivalents are relatively more common in India.

EDIT - I think the Plymouth and Dodge shared even more portions, the Chrysler was more individual being a flagship brand with Imperial.

The car pictured is a 1937 - 38 Chrysler Sedan. These came in three model lines, Royal Six, Imperial and Custom Imperial Eight.

This is a 1938 Chrysler Royal C - 18 sedan with an inline six cylinder engine.

Very rare as of these days

Some pics. The first and the last cars are Royals whereas the other pics are of an Imperial

Karlos,

The car is in a mumbai suburb, the engine has most probably been replaced with diesel one and the car was running around till some 10-12 years back. I do not have a direct contact with the owner hence no idea about the papers or other details.

Sanat,

The first is a Rolls Royce 20/25, bodied by Kellner in France for the royal family of Baroda. It passed on to a couple of famous hands, and recently made its way to Delhi, after being advertised for sale at 1.25 crores Im told.

The second car is a 55 (?) Chevy convertible. Lovely proportions.

tramway here are pictures of a beautifully maintained 1969 Pearl Yamaha with the original leg guards. The speedo and the taillights are also original. The handle switchgear appear to be altered and new.

Excellent, Thanks for the picture.

Today I got a chance to see a Triumph car in chennai, I'm not sure about the model year etc. Here are the photos I clicked.

Looks like this car is air conditioned.
