Karlosdeville, my friend, looks like you raided RK Studios right there. Thank you for keeping this thread alive with your posts. For me looking at these cars from the 1940s and 50s reminds me of childhood. Till c.1973 it was a common sight to see these cars on the roads on Bombay & Delhi and to think now these are history! The Chevrolet bus is the same model as my school bus of 1967. A Plymouth Savoy was the ride of a friends father and I used to be agape at how rich the fellow must be to afford that b-i-g car. With the bench front seat three skinny teenagers would sit in the front with the driver and go for a ride. Those 1940s American cars knew how to make the ride at the rear soft and cushioned quite unlike the European fare we get today.
