This car was last owned in Kerala by Advocate Hamza in Cochin. As per my info, it went to Bombay in the early nineties. Are you sure it is now in Chennai?

Re: Old Bollywood & Indian Films : The Best Archives for Old Cars

The title song from film "ye dil kisko do" (1963) featuring Shashi Kapoor. There's a new Fiat Elegant at the start (probably in factory painted buff colour with wheel discs of a similar shade). Another Millecento/Elegant taxi is seen between 2.22 to 2.26 mins. Lastly, as the video ends a Mercedes Benz SL is also sighted.

These cars are all momentarily seen and the focus was always on the hero who is crooning a rarely heard number.

The SL is almost certainly Shashi Kapoor's personal car, seen in at least 5 or 6 of his movies. It survives in Bombay in long term ownership.

TCG933 is an MGA in long term ownership with the TTK group owners in Chennai. The original double cam engine seems to have been changed to another British engine. As per MVD records KLU-112 still is in their database and no NOC has been issued. So in all probability these are 2 different cars
