Several classic cars can be seen in short scenes in the 1964 Hindi movie "April Fool" starring Saira Banu and Biswajit. The Registration Nos are clearly visible on most of the cars. So if anyone is interested in investigating, the movie is available in the site "Dailymotion" in 5 parts though the video quality is poor. (Please note that I have grouped different shots of the same car into a single picture so as to identify the car easily.)

Incidentally, it was the first film both for Asha Parekh (released on her 17th birthday) and the lady music director Usha Khanna. I realised that most of the cars shown in my above post have already appeared in an earlier post by Stanher on 2nd April 2015, 23:28. My apologies for the duplication. The images in Stanher's post are of much better quality.

The very often played song still in 2021, in most marriage functions though often instrumentally, shows quite a few cars tarting with a Chevrolet Impala (could be 1960) in the video. It shows a marriage procession. It's from the 1970 movie Sachaa Jhutha starring Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna and Mumtaz.

A dream song sequence "Sakkarakatti Rajathi" in a vintage tourer from a 1966 Tamil movie "Petralthan Pillaiya" starring MGR and Saroja Devi. The Registration No. (not clear) appears to be MDI 346. The YouTube link for the song is given below.

Rajendra alias Jubilee Kumar with Nanda in a gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet Belair. Worth noting is the factory two tone paint scheme. The rear portion is fully white. The first and the last minute of this song from Dhool Ka Phool (1959) with music by N. Datta (name Datta Nalwade) show the Belair in action.
