Deccan Heritage Vintage Rally - Hyderabad 15th Aug 08

Deccan Heritage Automobile Association (DHAA) will be organising a Vintage Car & Bike Rally on 15th August 2008 in Hyderabad
Venue : Lumbini Park (Parking Area)
Time : 9.00 - 11.00 am

In the same tradition as in last few years,DHAA invites all Hyderabadians and other enthusiasts from various parts of the country on the eve of the Independance day to bring their Vintage and Classic Beauties (Cars & Motorcycles) for a display.

This time it will be a modest rally (with out any chief guest) but definitly flag hoisting is on the agenda.

Hoping to see all.

So, do we see DKG taking out his babies for a spin there? I can visualize his babies getting all waxed up and the chrome buffed.

The last time I buffed the green Packard it took me six hours and while the end result justified the efforts I may not have the time to do that on the white one before 15th.

I do hope to be there but without a participating ride!! :sigh:
None of my classic cars are ready as yet (I was counting on taking my pennant but its still in the process of getting done up- cannot be finished in these 2 days!), nor is my lambretta, which is in pieces and merely primed up.
Ironically despite owning quite a few classics I dont have one ready for the actual event....water water everywhere but not a drop to drink?
My only hope for this year would be the World Tourism day rally, like one held last year (at Bison Polo grounds near Sec'bad)

OT: For Raghavendra (PAVAN KADAM), I guess it was a weekend well spent. Saturday, he was at the T-bhp meet and Sunday at the Bangalore Beetle Club (BBC) rally. If it were possible to be present at 2 place at the same time, he would have been present at Saturday's K-1000 SS as well.

Check the BBC thread for general BBC updates and from post #183 onwards for pictures of last Sunday's event:
