Cyrus, do all w123 coupes have their windscreen wipers from left to right eurospec for RHD because in sedans they are on the side the steering is! Is this a conversion job or germans did not bother to move arms on coupes because of the limited prod let me check the jamshedpur red car pics!

I have no Clue. Gogi would be better suited to answer that.
Here is a W115, a W124 and a W221. I just love that 115. I dont know why, but it is my all time favourite merc. I cant disclose he location, so i have blurred the rest of the picture. Also spotted a GSX-R and a 14RR, so am putting those pictures here too.

Hi Suniljee,

Are any of the Mercs in this compound for sale? I intend to get one and restore it for myself.

This 116 450 SEL belongs to a friend, now mechanically restored with all genuine parts, will get cosmetic attention soon. The V8 is a bomb to drive Infact the 6.9 version was the fastest 4 door car in the world at the time.

The 450 SEL 6.9 was by far the most amazing automobile I have ever dirive or read about. A Q car that defined the term.

the are a few of these seen today and I had the good fortune to look after one for a week here in Abu Dhabi and I was totally floored.

You look at the car and say wow this is a nice 450 SEL but when you get in and start it up you go what this sounds different and when you floor it it just leaps forward pushing you all the way back into your sat.

This car has been a target for Police looking to give you a Ticket and I have seen several cars with the 6.9 badges removed just so that they dont stand out.

An amazing machine and an all time favourite collectable.

See the film Ronin - it keeps up well with the Audi S8 although a little tail happy and does a terrific 360 reverse spin. The director put the car in the film as the car was one if his favourites. He also made sure it never got damaged

Yes the car in the movie Ronin was the same colour as the car in the pictures below.

Funny this colour was very popular on the 6.9 as the car I drove is alos the same.

Well the car above as pictured was advertised as a 6.9 in auto india in 2001. I was interested but no cash - Anyway, wet sump + steel suspension would have given the game away!

There's one with a friend here in Hyd Karlos.

PS I just checked with him. They apparently sold the car to someone from Bangalore and thinks it may either have gone to VM's collection or to someone in Kerala. The car was imported from the US and was in white, later painted black. I had seen it a couple of years ago when they had just acquired it.
