Dhiraj, the windshield frame to cowl rubber can be used from the CJ3B.
The glass seal set, headlamp switch and foot starter can be found at Walcks4wd.

No online seller stocks NOS/original gauges.
Most vendors have two qualities available.
The cheaper ones (around $20 each) are Chinese junk.
Of the expensive gauges only the oil and temperature gauges can be
made to pass off as originals, the speedo, fuel and ampere gauges are way off.
Are all your gauges broken/incorrect?

This is awesome. I have never seen or heard of this before.

Looks good but modified and somewhere its loosing its originality.

Is this a petrol or Diesel model.

Re: Jeep Willys

This is an old scanned B&W picture of the older Willys CJ3B.The wheel discs also used to be painted in the body colour (mostly ash grey). Only later in the early 1960's these came to be painted black.

Re: Jeep Willys

A CJ3B I spotted today, undergoing a makeover.

First time I'm seeing one with the original(?) speedo. Sorry about the bad quality, clicked from my mobile!

There is no such thing like an "original Diesel Willys" ....all the Willys came with petrol engines and then were converted to Diesel in Indian.

The Perkins P4 engineis one of the noisiest and the most sluggish engine you could ever install in any car

Willys did make a Dieselised Jeep with a Perkins P4 Engine. It was built in Spain and called Willys VIASA

They were originally manufactured and can factory fitted with a Perkins P4 3.3 ltr engine.

Also sluggish i think the Perkins are bullet proof engines.

Just wondering if any one had heard about theses Jeeps in India.

Well actually Willys didn't make but licenced production to a Spanish company that used the Perkins engine in their version.

I think only around 200 were made and it is highly unlikely some of them would have made it to India.

On the other hand you will find a huge number of Willys Jeeps in Indian that were converted to diesel, Perkins being one of the available units was much in favour Their P4 and P6 diesels were very common for conversions.

Re: Jeep Willys

Yes it was licensed production.
The same way it was licenced in India later on. Apparently it was licensed in Japan too where Mitsubishi was manufacturing them.

They still do manufacture them with a 2.7 Turbo Diesel Engine.
