I got BYH 4136 in the most unlikely place possible. In his basement. The registration will be Poona, 1958. A genuine Made-in-Ohio Jeep. Has the F-134 Hurricane in there.

Owned by a Jeep freak, as is evident by the Mahindra Thar, MH12JU7675 (April '13) beside it.

NKR ji congratulations on buying a healthy jeep. Good to see you getting the jeep with Hurricane heart, though it is M&M still it is recognized as WILLYS jeep and a pride ride to own, I am also pleased to see a winch to it & assuming this JEEP must have been built or bought from Hyderabad sometime, since I see it with lot of signature craftsmanship (shovel & axe, pipe foot boards) the only things odd (if you don't mind me mentioning) are the front lights on the bumper with some guards and the loose canvas top. Try getting the windshield channel also which will add more period looks and also helps on a hot day. That's it for any help you can PM me and have a great time ahead.

BLR 68, may be from Bengaluru. Also do the grill has 9 slats, and is it true that Ford GPW had one slot extra. By the way I had posted pictures of BRL 368 earlier, number seem to rhyme

Spotted this Jeep parked at a busy intersection in Mysore. Judging by the parking location and the oil trail beneath the vehicle, I'd hazard a guess and say that that it had broken down.

Bangalore never had a BL series AFAIK. Twas always MYB. And sometime before Independence there was a BAN series.

This is an original Willys MB. My friend had bought it in a scrap condition from Manipur and later restored it at a workshop in jaipur. I am also on a hunt for another one to do a similar job.
