Deepak Saab, it is such a pleasure meeting people like you here. Do you still have the VFR 800 ? You might not remember, but I have been to your place. Love reading your posts.

Would Bangalore today have the best (in terms of sheer variety and not necessarily top-draw only) collection?
Prabal - It is just my small contribution in terms of pictures. I would not like to kick up a conterversy here about the quality of cars in Bangalore. We have a very active KVCCC club here with some pasionate members. The Gurus like Mr. Harit, DKG, Travancore,Karl,Julian can decide if Bangalore is on par with other places in terms of variety & quality of cars. The bottom line is, @ Team BHP we all have a platform to share, discuss & learn a common passion.

Every year, KVCCC participates in the Annual Dussera Celebrations in Mysore. We drive in a convoy from Bangalore to Mysore ( 147 kms ), stay there for 2 days, participate in the Dussera parade and then drive back to Bangalore.Everytime we stay overnight during a rally, we have inter active sessions, quiz and lot of fun among members. The best part is, all members participate with their families. In the bargain, even the wives & kids know each other by names, and at times when there is no event held for a long interval, it is our families which is pushing us to have a get together. We have about 4/5 events in a year, each for a cause. Some of the events we have had - Kargil Widows Fund, where we drove around Bangalore and collected 7 lakhs, educate the Girl Child, visiting terminally ill cancer patients at hospitals and driving them in the cars, Aids awareness,Rotary Club fund collection, the list goes on and on.We have driven down to the Hyderabad ( 575 kms ) event in 1992,Mangalore (350 kms ), every year to Mysore ( 147 kms ).

Guys, This car has to be seen to be believed. It is owned by Mico Bosch and very rarely participates in rallies.

@Dominator, Karl, and Prabal: Thanks for the 2CV info guys.
It's my lifetime ambition to own a 2CV someday, a dream that goes back to my childhood days. If anyone can help me aquire one, I shall be indebted for life.
Any idea whether any are available, working / non working no bar. Also what pricing should I expect ?
Thanks, this thread will have been an eye opener.

No, sorry, I am referring to Rupali. I was under the impression she rode in one of the races, and she won. Of course, it's been over a year since I heard this, so I may be wrong.

Very nice pics, though.

Dont seem to remember the Beetle or its present owner. Was Ryan involved anywhere ?? The Citreon is from the Khoday's collection.

Oh yes Rupali, she was riding a James. Very soon we will see her participating in cars. You can see her at the same event.
