The President did use it as a limo, atleast in 1990. The Grosser can be seen behind in the convoy.

Saw this old fire engine on display at the national rail museum in New Delhi.

The Karnataka Vintage and Classic Car Club (KVCCC) had a display of cars at the Lulu Mall, Bangalore.

From the Rear L->R 1947 Humber, 1950 Ford F1, 1959 Chevy Impala, 1955 Dodge, 1949 Buick, 1972 Lancia
Front L->R 1946 MGTC, 1962 Triumph Spitfire and 1967 Beetle VW1300


The crowds were fantastic and engaging too. The youth were fascinated and had so many questions.

These once very common two wheelers are on display though in doddering condition at Sai Vatika Lawns, Nagpur. Neither would have got a second glance about two decades ago. But things are different today.















A Bajaj 150. Among the earliest ones from mid 1971, going by its registration. That's when Vespa 150 was renamed as the Bajaj 150. The speedo is factory fitted. Note the horn console housed in the same configuration as the old Vespa 150. But the flywheel casing is cut and has only two vents. The earlier ones had four. Victim of metal shrinking and cost cutting.









This is a late 1970's Allwyn Pushpak in it's oldest avatar. The speedo is original. But its badged as a Vijai Super Mark II (mid 1980's badge for the refreshed model).
