This belonged to the owners father. He had two of these and they were used to transport cakes, hotdogs etc from his bakery to his outlet

This car belongs to Dhan Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj. The Sangat (Devotees) of Delhi got this Car imported from USA in July 1963 and offered it to Baba ji. Baba ji was holding Congregations in Delhi at that time, where 4,826 Sikhs were Baptized in a short time. Baba ji travelled in this car only Two time. The first time was when Baba ji came from Delhi to Nanaksar on 23 Aug., 1963. The next time was when he went to Chandigarh, Shimla and Pinjore in Sept., 1963 where Baba ji baptized hundreds of Sikhs. Babaji came back to Nanaksar on 1st Oct., 1963.
This car is CHEVROLET - IMPALA Registration number PNL-18. Till then this car is maintained with original Parts and not a single time car is being maintained and still in its New Condition. It has been kept for Display for People in 'Car Garage' near the Main Gate of Nanaksar Thath.

Then Anarkali today this beauty....to my eyes it's the same mercilessness.

Hi Mr.Chanu, you bet, heart bleeds to see the state these beauties are handled and for what they are used. I am sure the owner of the restaurant should be a sadist to do what he has done with that millecento.

I am sure no car lover would walk into that restaurant even to have a glass of water. Where exactly is this place in Mysore? Since Mysore is my In-laws place i do visit Mysore regularly. Really want to have a look at this beauty.

That's Mr Uday Bhan Singh's house, and the gentleman in the foreground centre is UBS himself. This jeep has been photographed many times, one of them here:

He is the famous UBS aka Uday Bhan Singh ji a well know person in Jeeping community, he has been a Jeep lover and ever since he has been only driving, restoring, collecting jeeps. He has a dedicated garage in Lullah, Kolkata and a kind person helping a lot of jeep lovers across India.

The Jeep story which is no adorned by the building is something like this, there was a Ford lying at the UBS sir yard which is half broken and is of no use except salvaging few parts so UBS thought of this and got it on his building. Initially even I thought why would someone do this to a beauty of a machine however after some search got to know this info from some forum.

Only one exists now. The green Austin was painted at Pali as Karl mentioned near HSBC to Cream colour.

There is a nice vintage car (in restorable condition) kept outside Dakshinayan restaurant on JM Road, Pune.
