where was it restored ?? somewhere near pangode miltary camp???i remember seeing one undergoin tinkering in a small workshop there few weeks back

I too have seen some old car being repaired there.Thought it was the Mini Moke

The Plymouth , guess the restoration season is in full swing!

But in this case the windshield seems to be from an ambassador , am I guessing rite?

Yes, the front winshield is of the Amby and the rear ones look like those of the Premier Padmini.

I didnt understand what restoration you are mentioning.This car has already been featured in this forum in another thread 5 years back itself.

It is a dieselised Plymouth valiant LHD 1966 model and the only recent change seems to be the change in body colour!!.
By the way the car is parked on the PATTOM -Kesavadasapuram roadside is it not?

Yes the least they could've done was fit a similar Padmini front windscreen for the front too. Would've looked slightly better. Anyway they had to make an alteration to fit this one.

Yes the road u mentioned is rite. About the restoration part : - I was mentioning about the front wind shield.may be that was changed 5 years back or so. Any way nice to see it repainted.

Is that a Buick? The person who stand near the car is Mr. Lonappan(Oppen) Chitilapilly it's 1949 model.
