Ajay one doubt. Any possibility that this car may have been in the Palace before it came to Late Mr. Subramoniam ? Remember that ther was a similar car in the Palace and there were some pictures with HH Maharani, with it.

May be Prem may be able to clarify

Yes Ram, you are correct that there was a similar Buick convertible in the palace , but as per my info it was later used by the Aspinwall MD and sold to north india .This movie was shot in 1963 and it sports a 1962 registration number,so I don't know whether this car belonged to the palace

Here are the two "Travancore" Buicks, as I know them.

Kasli should be able to say if the MH-registered car is indeed ex-Travancore (Palace) or not.

The Palace did have a creamish coloured convertible. I had a photo of my Dad with car, now unfortunately lost to termites.

Its a Chevrolet Impala most probably a 1965 model. By the registration number, it must have come to Ernakulam in 1968/69
