Looks like and elite club.

I seriously did'nt like the way the above Rolls Royce is kept. How i would have loved to atleast give a nice coat of paint to the Rolls and done some work on it to look original.

Dear Mr Jatti,

I am impressed the way you and Mr Titus restore these cars. If there aren't people like you two, we can never get to see these vintage cars and that too in such a lovely condition. I did not as such have a liking for vintage cars but now, seeing your passion for these cars , I am now quite liking it. I have quite a lot of friends who own vintage cars. And I know that maintaining them is a big job. Keep it up!

Please do inform me of your next meet well in advance. I would love to be there.

The Heritage Motoring Club of India is pleased to announce "The Standard Chartered Vintage & Classic Drive" to Neemrana Fort Palace on Sunday the 30th of November, 2008. All Members/ Non-members with their immediate families, driving in a Vintage/Classic car and Vintage/Classic motorcycle/scooter (manufactured upto 1970) are invited to this Drive.

About 50 Vintage & Classic Cars and 25 Vintage & Classic Motorcycles will be flagged off from the Claremont Hotel and Convention Centre at 8:00 a.m. The Flag Off will be preceeded by light snacks and tea at the Claremont Hotel. Our Vintage & Classic Automobiles will then drive the 100 Kms distance to the Neemrana Fort Palace in about 2½ hrs time.

The Drive will be run on the Time-Speed-Distance format where each Vintage & Classic Auto will be given a specific time to cover the approximately 100 Kms distance at a specified average speed depending on the cubic capacity and age of the vehicle.

There will be two time control points; one at the Flag Off point at Hotel Claremont and the other at the Flag In point at Neemrana Fort Palace. The winners of the Drive will be awarded prizes for the first positions in the (i) Vintage Car, (ii) Classic Car, (iii) Vintage/ Classic Motorcycle and (iv) Vintage/ Classic Scooter categories.

Commemorative Mementoeswill be presented to each participant. The participants will return to Delhi after tea at Neemrana at 4 p.m.

Since the event is open to all Members of HMCI as well as non-members owning a Vintage/ Classic Auto and their immediate families, we request all Members/ Non-Members to confirm their participation by November 28, 2008 stating the name and year of manufacture of the Vintage/Classic auto and the number of immediate family members accompanying them.

Persons not registering for this Drive by November 28, 2008 may not be allowed to participate in the event. Please send in your confirmation of participation at the very earliest.
