I dont know any further details of this car- syed, how about you?
Infact I didnt ever see nearly 90% of the cars in this rally in any of the regular DECHAA (ok DHAA for hillram's sake! ) rallies held every year!

BML 4469 that makes it another ex Bombay ponton probably a 1957 Registration. Mine is BML 8988 which is 1956, I am trying to find the oldest running Ponton in the country. This is younger than mine.

BML 4469 would probably be 55 or 56, not 57.

Are you sure I thought the series worked downward from 9999, Only the rear tailights will divulge, What kind of Hupcaps are these they look like dabba lids. Incidentally my garage guy has the mould/die for the older ponton hubcaps, so it should be able to replicate these.

I seriously doubt it went backwards. BML 1960, 1963, 4711, 5070, 5463, 5601, 6149 are all 54-56 model Fiats, and BML 7525, 8114, 8684, 9437, 9694 are 56-57.

Behram why dont you check out the ponton which has been posted in the rust in pieces thread someone has posted a ponton from kerala, and its very very restorable. I am sure its for sale.

yesterday night i saw an 1960 mercury commet (LHD) in my friends garrage.
it is having some suspension problem. its was huge with long bonnet and long dicky. cant take it pics as it was too late but will get them soon.
i told my friend to take the pics in morning.
will upload them in week.

it's a 1947 Cadillac with it's interiors.
