That is one of the most stylish and flamboyant yet compact Mercs of the era - a personal favourite of mine. Good to know it is being restored, do keep us posted as the restoration takes place.

So this is where this car has gone. She was a Pune car, sometime she came to Bombay, near Gwalior Tank and belonged to a Mr. Anand who ran two garages and whose son became an actor. At that time she had a weird colour combination, light green and light blue. Then Mr. Poonawalla purchased this car along with a whole lot of others as the export ban was expected to be lifted. When that did not happen, he sold the cars. The 630K which is now with Mallya was also with Poonawalla.

Personally I still prefer Freddy Turrel's 170V somehow it has that old world thing still going. Somehow I feel this car is going the Delhi 170V way. But again thats my opinion.

Well i thought I was the only guy seeing problems with this car, according to me a lot of things are off and it seems to be taking on a 540K persona like the Delhi car.
