Ok Guys just got my pass. The down side of this is Photography is strictly prohibited. I did manage to take behind the sceene pictures of some of the cars but i cannot post them.
All i can say is that the line up of the cars is fabulous and they are one of the best from their era. A fantastic job done by Manvendra uncle in co-ordinating the cars and convinceing the owners to send their beauties for the event. The Rare appearance by the Delahye of Jodhpur is a marvel in itself.

Are you sure? A friend asked Manvender and it seems to be ok. I am carrying my camera for sure.

If the invite can state "smart casuals" surely they would mention "photography prohibited"

If any new Rolls-Royces or Bentleys are on show or a 3 litre WO Bentley from Indore, please do gently tear open the bonnets and write down the chassis numbers, by the time the security arrive you'll have the numbers

Bummer.. my dad was supposed to go for the show, but he's stuck in pune with the flu... there's one waste of a pass...

Well am looking forward to seeing the snaps of the beauties soon. Let the cameras click? Would also love it if a few cameras could roll (videos) as the cars move out or into the venue so we could see and hear how the cars of yester years looked in motion and sounded like.

The people incharge did not encourage pictures to be taken. I have pictures even before the event started. So for tom i too am takeing my camera and what i have missed is what i shall click.

The pass also states that RSVP was to be given on the 15th of oct and badges would be issued. So i am not sure if passes can be exchanged or used at the entrance.

Nope they cant be exchanged....I think he called to ask if someone else could go instead of him, and they said no.
Really wish i was in town.. cant wait to see fotos, if they allow cameras.

Was an absolutely fabulous event, fantastic setting, perfect ambience and some very, very special cars. Watch this space for pics tomorrow. Gogi, DKG and others can get the ball rolling in the mean time.

I did meet Christy at the event, and hitched a ride to Chembur with him after the show.

I have many great pics, but they are on moralfibres camera (which is with me), and the cable is with him and he is at work. So give me till tomorrow.
