I always knew of your Laverda in Ahmedabad. I only got to see the bike after it arrived in Bangalore ( it was arranged by my friend Navroze ). From the time I have seen the bike, it has been red. As the previous owner happens to be a good friend I was involved during the restoration process.Will check if I have any unrestored pictures of your bike.

I knew of one more Laverda in Delhi, years ago. It probably is the same bike posted by Karl from Roops archive. I do not know of its present existence. It is fair to assume that your Laverda is the only one surviving in India ?

Dominator: Here's the link to that Times of India Article about the only LAVERDA in India. Would we be able to locate Mr. Khalsa in Ahmedabad....apparently he had a certificate from LAVERDA...

I am not sure about the name ? But the bike definately came from Ahmedabad. Will try to find out if his name was Khalsa ?

waiting to see the fury. my cousin used to own one of those and as a kid i used to drool at it.Was so fascinated with its 175 cc engine, disc brakes, alloy wheels and its sporty looks. Was just waiting to grow up and ride one of those. Was the most powerful bike on the roads then after the rd350 i guess.
