I saw the green Mustang being towed away in Richmond road flyover a week ago. Felt bad for the car then, dint know it was getting readied for the vintage rally.

Some very neat cars. I recognise the Dodge Kingsway and Adler from a collection in Pune. The later Caddy and Hudson look brilliant, Mallya's Rolls sports a curious style of fenders. What is that Merc wagon doing there?!

Thank you for your pics, though since this event is open to display for the public you need not blur the regn numbers, if you notice even the information board boldly proclaims the number. Many enthusiasts including me keenly observe these older regn numbers. The Dennis fire engine and Ford pick up look particularly interesting, any more pics of those?

Those are some great great cars. Well done Bangalore. The city may not have the most expensive cars, but the people sure have a lot of class!

Mate,
What's you're definition of 'Expensive'?
If i'm not mistaken 90% of the cars spotted there were more than a crore.

I meant in general. Not many people in India will buy Vintage cars, let alone restore them to such high quality. That's what I meant by class. People with money just go for the most famous car that they can afford, but I've noticed that people in Bangalore show taste for what they do with their money

Actually, a lot of the cars have been owned by the same person since new or picked up from an original owner. The Deccan Herald Cadillac was used till the orignal owner died and the sons retired it. These cars hardly come out

It was open to any unique/ special car as well as vintage cars. Some of the "unique" car which were also - I want to show off" were an S350, a couple of Cayennes, a CLS 350. Since they are common, never bothered to click' em
