Sorry, this car is not in Lucknow. It was picked up from Lucknow many years ago, came to Mumbai and belongs to who is not on this forum but keeps in touch. Before Lucknow she was in Lahore/Karachi, but came over before 1947.
So now belongs to a Mumbaiwalla

At the last Cartier event there was a Packard 120 from Jaipur which had an original factory fitted airconditioner. Packard was probably the pioneer in offering this feature as an accessory. I had not come across this before. Now another one has cropped up for auction in America, described as "Fully optioned" including factory airconditioning. This is from prewarcar.com
Colour combination is a matter of taste, thankfully not metallic.

Harit 1938 was the first year Packard introduced airconditioning as an option in the 120 series. If I recall correctly they were also the world's first to do so in a production car. The Kasliwal car is a 1941 110

I forget what it is but there was one another feature which was a world's first. I may be wrong but perhaps the world's first production V12?

My father took this picture of me and my cousin in Mahabaleshwar many years back. One of Mr Bhogilal's Packards had come to the Irani's pump for a wash.

This was a 110 belonging to Nitin Dossa. Engine was 6 cylinder. Sometime she was sent to Indore for restoration and came back in green. The detailing was not very good.
Subsequently sold off to Pune.

The 2nd car is not a Packard, looks like a Buick. Where did the first Packard originate from?

Are you sure Karl because the radiator has the traditional Packard curves in the top area but the rims are certainly unlike Packard's
