Ajay I think it is healthy to quote prices as I am assuming you are not in the business it helps in benchmarking and transparency as I got the impression you are doing it as a contribution to the community, if not do clarify to us and then we can move on and PM you for prices. cheers

canonball,
I think i had made it clear more than once, that none of these parts are mine .And I am not in "'business"' but doing it as part of my vintage hobby.
Although I dont want to publish their names, I have helped at least 5-6 teambhpians in getting obsolete parts from Kerala/tamil nadu.

Guys, I need help in sourcing atleast one, if not a pair of these original Lucas L595 front parking light lenses for mk1 ('63-65) Herald.
These were very commonly available until a few years ago, having come on the Standard 20 vans/trucks as well.

I have just this one, 'need one more atleast.

If anyone could find these, do let me know, thanks!

Ok Ajay got it but I still think no harm in publishing prices so people can have a reference point for future, the idea of a website, and I suppose this thread is to share knowledge in a transparent way so prices for a parts thread is critical!!

It helps create confmormity and healthy competition in the market place and the objective of teambhp is to spread info freely as well. I may not want those parts you are helping with now I/friend may want them next month so I can tell them to visit this thread and get an idea it makes life easier I don't know why it is such a sticky issue. I created the thread for the very reason so people can know prices and availability!

Sanjay Ghosh who had restored my Fiat 1100 deluxe has been able to fit on a very nice side door mirror and considered it a gift in appreciation for all the support I have given him and starting a thread on his works.

Apart from looking great, it is unbelievable how much it helps in driving in these very crowded streets and all the crazy drivers here. He also has them for fender mounting.

If anyone is interested in them you can email him at rajivautocentre@yahoo.co.in.

I didn't ask him the price as I thought it would be inappropriate.

BOMBAY bhpians- I need help!

I was told that there is this shop in Bombay near VT station called RELIABLE MOTORS or something. I'm told they have spares for Vauxhall Wyvern and Velox.
If anyone could check out this store, I urgently need brake liners, wheel bearings and wheel cylinders/kits (as seen here

Besides engine components viz. head gaskets etc.

Secondly, I'm looking for brand new or even used STAINLESS STEEL hubcaps made for Ambassadors. They are of this brand called MOX or MDX.

I prefer these to the chromed hubcaps that rust faster than you can blink! and also since the rechroming job is so pathetic here!!

Stanher , why buy used when you can get new ones for Rs 75-80 each . They are available in Chennai and the brand name is COX.

Aah yes, you're right- I do recall seeing even the name COX on these.......and I once even saw a set named NOX!
But, quoting Shakespeare, what's in a name- they are one and the same!

Could you get me 2 sets of these ??!!
