My friend's dad used to have a Fiat with a registration number MRX 4413, he is also not knowing whether its a Select or SuperSelect. Now he i.e. Rutwij is having a Padmini, which is beautifully restored & maintained & he has also came for 13th December FCCCI Mega Meet in Mumbai.
Can anyone knows where this car in now ?? He will not be purchasing it, he just want to see it.

I am looking for a 1939 Buick Century sedan that was for sale with a Sardar in Hyderabad, actually Secunderabad right next to Sapnalok Complex

This was way back in 2001. Does anyone know what hppened to this car.

It was a deep blue sedan with twin sidemounts and a sun roof. The car was brough out of storage after around 40 years and needed complete restoration. I recollect there was a hole in the grille thanks to mishandled towing of said car.

Also with this person was a 30 Model A and the Adler Sedan which is now with Harit.

Car didn't have nay regestration numbers that I am aware of

Any help will be much appreciated.

Fiat 1100 (BML 7769) - Black

We used to own a 1957 Fiat 1100 103E, this was bought by my grand father initially and then passed down to my uncle and me. Unfortunately, due to our exit from our Mumbai for various reasons (Study, Job, etc) we had to let her go, since there would be nobody to take car of the car.

It was a family car and we have had some fond memories with that car.

The reason for putting up a post (may seem quite bollywood like) is, because I am looking for the car either to buy it back (if it's not scrapped) or to atleast pay her a visit (if traced with the help of team-bhp members) and feel comforted that she is in good shape.

The color of the car was black and the registration number was BML 7769, we had sold it to a guy in Andheri (east) who claimed to himself have another Fiat 1100 and also claimed to be a collector.

Please help me find this car.

Thank You

This Number sounds very familiar, there used to be a BML 7*** lying near my house in Dadar. When was the last time you saw the car? Many BML Elegants survive to this date. You could get lucky. Just the other day I saw a Elegant with a BML plate Golden colour at Kala Ghoda.

My neighbour's father bought a black Ford Consul new in Pune in the 50s, and sold it in 1991. If anybody sees it do let me know. It was registered BYH 1543.

Mr Shailen Manna, a world class football player of the 1950's from Kolkata owned a black, early 1950's Hindusthan 14 (regn. no. WBF 1522) which he used to drive himself for a long, long time guess till the 1980's or maybe early 1990's.
Not sure whether he still owns the car though he is very much alive and well and an octogenarian now.

MHJ 6*** would probably date to 1967, making the car a 1100D, not 1973 Premier President.

@ Karl,
I am very much sorry, but the registration number of that Premier resident is MTJ6678. Try to get any clue regarding this car.

So it turns out the car is not scrapped, but alive and well - thanks to Rony for sniffing this out for me. Now to try and find the owner. I'd love to have her back.
