Hello Good People
I'm looking to work on a passion project. Wanting to source and restore a 1960s Royal Enfield to gift to my dad. I have the registration number (DHS 5038) but that's about it. I would ideally & miraculously want to source the same bike, if not , the nearest possible in the series. Any help as to where and how do I need to start digging would be appreciated. I've never owned a bike in my life and thus would need to toil a little extra.

I recently found a document which showed that my Dad bought a Jeep with the registration number MYR:291 . It was registered at Raichur (Karnataka) in 1970.

Do not have any other details of this Jeep.

Any one here has any if this vehicle survived. Would love to get this back and restore it if possible.

Hi DKG,
Was wondering if you could connect me with your uncle in Hyderabad to see the Plymouth as it did belong to my father who bought it in Delhi in early 60s and we had it till late 80s when he sold it to a gentleman in Jamshedpur who used it in weddings renting it out n then the last i saw it was laying in a workshop pulled apart for restoration which never got done as the guy sold it to an outside party n then never heard about it.
Please share details of your uncle so i can connect with him and the car
