My grandmother had a Lambretta regd KRE 3411 in 1976 in Cochin, it seems they stayed at Perumanoor Ernakulam

The Kerala RTO website does have records, so I am hopeful it is still alive, though apparently it is still registered in her name!

Keep your eyes peeled, would you?

My Grandfather owned a Buick (Roadmaster) 1947 Model - Regn No - BMY 2615 any idea if anyone has any information about this beauiful car or if anybody has seen this vehicle. As per the RTO records (prior to the fire) the car was owned by Mr.Trikhamdas Ratilal and the address was Bora Bazaar in Mumbai. I have been unable to trace this owner despite my best efforts. Any information on the same would be highly appreciated. Once again Registration no is BMY-2615 and it is a 1947 model. I do also have the Chassis and the engine no as per the RTO records.

Yesterday I received a call from a gent looking for his old 1954 Millecento. Registred MRJ 4138, it was purchsed in the 80s from a Doctor in Kolhapur, metallic brown in colour. It was sold in Pune in 1990, and painted blue. Sound familiar to anybody?

I do not think it would be the same since our car was running till the day she left our house! And even after that for a month at least, when i did spot her at the garage opposite the now ABN Amro bank at Taboot street in Pune. At that time she was being repainted a metallic Blue.

Anyways please do check the reg no. since the story behind the car may be different.

I had two heralds & one standard 10 in Bombay
  1. MRF 888 1968 Rally Car, White with Black bonnet
  2. MRZ 3489 1966 Rally Car, Black & Grey
  3. DLF 2978 Black super 10
I fear they have been junked. 888 was sold to a Dr. in Mathalachmi Hospital in Sion.
Besides these we had in Chennai
1952 Velox MDS 2619
1948 Morris 8 MSP 4928
1948 Wolseley MSP 8608
1946 Dodge MSP 2867
No idea where these are. Probably butchered

Although I'm afraid am in no position to help, just curious to know, was 888 a 4-door Herald (mk3), since it is mentioned as a '68 model? 3489 would've been a mk2 Herald?
