@ jai3033, are the doors and the back hood original?? because they seem a bit unoriginal specially the windows with rubber sealings. the tires also are smaller compared to a truck.

Nice photos Jai. I have a feeling I have seen your truck in a garage during restoration.

This truck was bought in 1935 as a chassis cab with the cowl, running boards and the rear fenders. M/s George Oakes, the dealer then provided a complete wooden body which lasted till the year 2000. It was then replaced by a aluminium body retaining the same design. So the doors and the rear body is actual a replica of the wooden one.

The tyres are original 17 inches one (5.5 x 17) which are very difficult to procure. Couple of tyres on the vehicle are more than 40 years old.

This was the condition when I picked it up last year.

Also saw some news footage on the TV today, covering the rally.Jai 3033 thanks for the nice pictures.
There's a Dodge Kingsway MSX 3157. The registration number of a black Fiat 1100 Dukkar driven by Babu Moshai Amitabh Bachchan in the 1971 film Anand was MSX 2205.

Thats a nice MK1 Rover P5 going from the hubcaps. Who does it belong to? Do you have any interior shots. I am curious cause this may be the oldest P5 in the country say 1959 or so. Number plate experts is WBB older than WBF?

WBF is from 1967-68 and WBB is 1962-63 if I am not wrong. Definitely of the two WBB is older. We had a CJ3B Willys Left Hand Drive jeep with WBB.

In that case she has definately travelled from another state or probably wearing incorrect hubcaps. Never -the- less a nice car. But with the given hubcaps should be a 59-early 60's car.
