Its always good to read your nostalgic posts Mr. Dhabhar! And the EXACT specifications and prices and even dates sometimes make it even more special Cheers!

Meanwhile, while surfing the internet, I found this rare picture of The Beatles during their visit to India (1968) with their chauffeurs (??)

The car at the back looks like a 1960 Chevy Impala Sport Sedan. Which is the other one?

The tailfin is typically Cadillac of the late 1950's and early 1960's. No other car can boast of similar tailfins.

I just noticed that Ringo is wearing the same shirt and cords in both Impala59's photo and the one I posted. So must have been on the same trip ?

Re: Nostalgic automotive pictures including our family's cars

A pair of buses of the 1940s, one Ford (mistakenly identified as a Chevy) and one unidentified are seen here

The description reads

The first bus service to the Shevaroys was operated by NS in 1920

Is that a Buick in the driveway? The history of Polson dairy is quite interesting. Lookup Wikipedia.

Those trademark high mounted lights means to me looks more like a 1937 Chrysler.
