I assume this series of MYS was run much earlier. It returned somewhere in the 60s/70s but the older series would have been re-registered at the time. So both were valid for their time.

Raj Kapoor's first car was also the similar Olds 98 Convertible. Is this the same one ? It was featured in his film Barsaat (1949) and was parked at the R.K. Studios, Chembur, Mumbai for a long, long time.

Raj Kapoor's car was moved long back to Loni,Pune ,where his samadhi is (presently campus of MIT Pune).Now its with a collector in Pune and under restoration

This book is printed by TIL (Tractors India Limited). TIPL a subsidiary (now it being a separate entity) has been a Caterpillar Dealer for the last 72 years.

My connection with TIPL is my work. This book traces the history of TIL and has some nostalgic pictures -
