The Marine Drive Flyover, supposedly dated 1969.

I flipped the photo, since the traffic was on the wrong side of the road. But looking at the BOAC sign, maybe I should not have!

"BOAC" and "Esso" - both extinct now

If Iam not wrong, the kingsways sold in India after 1954 were 4 doors sedans.

Oh my goodness, such a lovely photo of these Chrysler Corp products. I was a teenage when these appeared in the dealership windows. And I revel in seeing them here. I can't thank you enough.

What a great week for viewing cars made in America in the late 40s and early to mid 50s. 1954 Dodge to the left, 1955 Dodge to the right (probably in Plymouth bodies since most American exports were prone to put more expensive models in cheaper bodies. The 1950 Ford (could that be an exposed gas cap? If so then 1949, a lid was affixed on the 1950). And the 1955 DeSoto grill which was probably placed on the front of a Dodge or Plymouth. My eyes are pleased with what they saw.

The building in the background still stands along with the shop trade and wings, I am told that the car also survives some 300 kms from Jaipur , with the first owner.

White plates and the RJT regn.- could it have been a taxi? Though definitely not in 'official' taxi colours.
