Much misinformation on this auto. It is a 47 not 48. Forty eight had a centered vertical chrome piece that reached from top to bottom of grill. V8 engines did not appear in Chevrolets until 1955 (265 ci).

I came across a pic of the Invicta Type S, BMW 3240 posted by Fred Rozario at a Bombay Vintage Car Rally in early 1971... photographed with a Kodak box camera with Fred at the wheel.Nostalgic automotive pictures including our family's cars-81728586_10157652065321067_5514046166142025728_n.jpg

Re: Nostalgic automotive pictures including our family's cars

At the same event in 71 was this Model A Ford, a relatively rarer model, a door hardtop. I wonder if it is the same car that has attended events in Bombay in more recent times, in a very handsome two tone green colour.

EDIT - I just noticed the car I speak of is a left drive model, the one in the picture is right hand - unless the picture is flipped, I think they were two different cars.

Likely the same Kashmir "J&K-4" car. With Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, Srinagar, 1957.

This is great time lapse sort of picture. Good to see all the people gracefully age including the car. However, the car looks different, it has gone through many exterior changes. Some body panels are different, the sun shade is missing. I'm sure, vehicle went though many modifications over the years. Can you give us some details of what all changed?
