What a unique car, and lovelt shot. Thanks for sharing. A similar car (but slightly different trim apparently) was seen in the Rajesh Khanna movie Doli here (Old Bollywood & Indian Films : The Best Archives for Old Cars)

Chevy Styleline Deluxe wagon 1949/1950, I think. The chrome strip ends on front door, with DeLuxe script above it.

Going by the two strakes on the bonnet side and the curved door handles, it is likely a 1935 Chevrolet Master (DeLuxe ?) Phaeton.

Can the experts identify the car? At first glance I would have said Ford V8 but apparently it isn't a run of the mill model.

Both Dagenham Motors Ltd (D.M.) and Jensen seem to have built some specials. Haven't found the right one yet.
