I think the Chevy to the left MSR 6165 is also seen in the movie 'Kulla Agent 000', will look for the reference pic.

Taxis would've had white plates with black letters though? Maybe belonged to some politician or film stars of the time?

The second car (two tone sedan) is MSR-6055, also seen in the Connemara Hotel photo. Perhaps a Chrysler family car going by the slanted fins ?
The station wagon is MSR-6155.
If I remember right, "Tourist Taxis" (in Kerala) had regular white letters on a black plate

That's a '62 Mercury Comet.
