Nice find!

Starting from the left, it looks like two Hillmans, a Vauxhall and possibly a Packard / Hudson

Rather than a Packard / Hudson I would say Kaiser/Frazer

Au contraire my esteemed colleagues, the far right auto is either a Kaiser or Fraser of the 1947-49 era. They are identical except for grill; on the Fraser the slogan Je suis pret. The Fraser only lasted a year or two and the Kaiser continued through 1955. In 1953 Kaiser bought the Willys Overland Company and that marriage lasted until they end of 1955 when Kaiser decided to leave automobile manufacturing. The 1953 Kaiser Manhattan was most elegant, and the Kaiser-Darrin of 1953 is now a collector's dream worth six figures in restored form.

Re: Nostalgic automotive pictures including our family's cars

An old slide I found. This is our backyard sometime in the 60s. The cars appear to be a Fraser and a Studebaker. Since the plates are visible, I wonder if any of them survive! Would be a nice surprise if either did.

Apologies for the quality but the slide is badly damaged.

What a lovely photo! Thanks for sharing, and do dig up some more if possible. I have no record of them surviving, but never say never.

OT - does the building survive?

Thanks! I have a couple of more that I'll scan and upload soon.

And yes, the building is the house we still use!
