Just back from the Rally! Funkykar was saying "Before we get home, Sidman would have already posted photos!" So here goes!
We had around 18 scooters this time. We were also joined by a Suvega and couple of Jawas, and few other well-wishers on their Pulsars, etc. The rally was smoother and more enjoyable this time. Most participants arrived on time. Reporting time was extended till 11:00 am to accomodate a few more. We set off shortly after 11:00, and had a leisurely ride to Airlines Hotel, thanks to Arun, who lead the rally, and dictated the pace, never crossing 40 kmph. We had a nice brunch at Airlines, and then dispersed.
BCSC welcomes the newest members, and thanks all the existing "stalwarts" who participated this time. Thanks to FCB Club members for coming to our rally, and spreading the message...you guys rock! Thanks also to Baba...we are privileged to have a "speed king" in our midst! And thanks to Andy for changing all his plans in favour of attending the rally!
This time, we also had some stand out scoots...Mudassar's eye-catching Vespa PL170, Suri's Vespa, Gokul's Vijai. The trio of yellow n white Lambrettas was a sight to behold...owners are Gopi, Srisha, and Anil. We hope to have some more exciting things at subsequent rallies, so do keep a watch on this topic!

We FCB guys had a nice time today meeting so many scoot enthusiasts.!!

We FCB, BCSC, KVCCC, BBC etc etc members are now like a big auto enthusiasts family in Bangalore.Our lives have really, really changed in a year!!

Sidman please don't say Thanks or be thankful to us. We consider BCSC as our club and work for it. Its our passion that drive us to do all this and great-full to be in a clan of people of the same mentally.

This is the first time that I ever saw such old beautiful scoots. The condition of each scoot tells the passion of their owners. It was really vibrant. This club has been a motivation for me to restore atleast one of my Bajaj scoots. If I happen to restore my Bajaj Super 1984, I would participate as a member too some time.

I think Sidman doesnt even drink a drop of water after going home. He just cant wait even a second to upload the pics . Its awesome Sid! You are definitely faster than the news channels getting breaking news on air.

As Sujith1100(FCB and BCSC) and Arun1100(FCB) once said, may be shortly we should have a combined FCB and BCSC rally/meet some time.

All members associated with BCSC are heartyly welcome to attend FCB's grand 1st anniversary Rally in March. Sujith will give the details and schedule shortly

You are absolutely right! Bangalore is turning into a hotbed for classics! I have met so many interesting people in the last year, it is incredible!

Hahahaha...with the weather the way it is, everyone needs a tall, cool glass of water when they get indoors! I don't like putting off the uploading of photos and post-rally stuff, quick response keeps the enthusiasm high, else it will taper off into indifference! This combined rally sounds interesting...we should look into it...Italian-origin beauties rolling on together! And of course, we will be there for your first b'day bash! Bring a towel with you...we gonna plaster your faces with cake!!!

We just got word that RVCE college is organizing a rally on Mar. 7th, 2010. The assembly begins at 7:30 am at Central Library, Cubbon Park. By 9:00 am, the rally will begin, and route includes Vidhana Soudha, Raj Bhavan, Atria Hotel. Please be there early so you can register yourself as a participant.
The rally is being held to raise money for the "Save the Tiger" campaign.
Please note, this is NOT a BCSC-organized rally. We are just passing on the news to you.
We have also been told that all participants who register will receive a free t-shirt!
We hope to see you there.

I would love to own a machine like this. Chances of finding one though are very slim, and if I do find one, I wont be able to afford it. So some day I'll buy a beat up old Priya and make me on of these.

Ha..ha.. I was just thinking of the same thing.

This one has really beautiful lines. But the colour is too glossy and flashy (is it period, I think not) Would look killer with a faded matte blue. Also minus points for the autorickshaw wheel cap on the stepney.
