I was driving the escort JEEP. We were under the impression that Lancia was low on oil hence we were following her all the way till the toll. By the time we came out of the food court after a sweep, the Lancia vanished. 20 minutes later, we got the radio call that lancia had reached Dukes .

It was a pleasure seeing so many beauties together. I didn't get a chance to click any pics as I was busy during the event managing things.

Sabareesh,

We only see actors and actresses in the film, do not see directors and producers.
Same here we see only cars.......no organizers and not even owners (only few)

Big thanks to all who helped to make this event a grand success and it was real pleasure to see the pictures(at least) of hidden beauties.

All the best for the future event
cheers

Was the lancia also displayed in inorbit mall? The pics which we say showed only the dodge from harit's collection.

Well, the caption says "in the vintage car rally organised in Navi Mumbai, hoardes of people landed up to look at antique cars of various types"

The Military have a method of Double Checking their important orders. This incident shows the need for it.

Hey Sabareesh, You should have had a t-bhp sticker on your Jeep.

The incident happened like this. The Karmann Ghia being driven by a friend stood on the roadside with the engine lid up. We stopped, he said that the car heated and was low on oil. Just then Sabareesh drove up in his Jeep and I asked if he had oil. Meanwhile my mechanic did a slight adjustment on the timing and the Karmann went of to Khandala. Since I had asked for oil and was sitting in the Lancia, they thought that it was the Lancia that needed oil. Next time I ask for oil I will specify for which car.

Anyway, this is the last attempt to bring this thread to the front, now we need another event.
First attachment is from Hindustan Times.
Second and Third are from Wheels, and Wasif sent these to me.
Then there are pictures of the Dodge Custom Royal taken again by Kasli.

About the event, a few comments.
It was worth the money spent and fun for almost all participants, I am saying almost as I cannot speak for all. That would be presumptious.
The Lancia was the last car, so we were accompanied by the Jeep and the Doctors in the Ambulance. Yes, it was very much there as was the tow truck.
What did we participants get?
Morning breakfast at the start.
Toll one way was taken care of.
Breakfast/brunch/lunch depending on when and how much one ate, again at Dukes.
Special rates for drinks at Dukes.
Gulf oil Hamper worth a lot.
Three caps, gulf oil, Karwale and ASportscraft
A chance to win mugs given away by raffle
A chance to win 2 GPS sets again given away by a raffle.

I would have only one suggestion, in the starting lineup the slower cars should be flagged off first, that would narrow the different arrival times.

Now we are hungry for the next event, whoever organises this.

Cheers harit
