Surprising that this happened in 1985, any idea who owned it at that time or was it being imported ?, maybe the registration no. CCH 1999 might give a clue.

Cadillac Fleetwood in a spotless condition and lovely black paint-job spotted in Mumbai. Probably a tad bit new for this thread but don't think there is any other thread for Cadillacs.

It's amazing how your able to get the right shots everytime. This I believe is the Ambani Cadillac.

Nice pics RMan, I always thought the Dhirubhai Ambani Fleetwood was a white one. Sanjay Khan also owned a white Fleetwood (which was repainted black and abandoned (Pics: Cadillac Deville in Mumbai)). There was another white one (no idea who owns it). If anyone is interested, there is a Cadillac STS abandoned at Mahim beach.

Yeah, I've seen it years ago, attaching pic below. Car since has vanished from the spot.

That can happen only if two conditions are met.

1. The Maharaja is important enough ( as a long term customer)

2. He has bottomless pockets to finance show level restorations.

I would say that's actually a good thing that at least its not deteriorated.

I would just restore the mechanicals and preserve the patina assuming its still on its original paint.
