Thanks John for your comments. The old Lady wasn't at the Tolly show as I am in Delhi right now. However, the Sweet young Lady (my daughter) was there!!!

Some pics of the car interior (showing the ceiling, seats, door handles, etc.) and engine are attached. In fact there is a separate thread on this car on this "Pre-1950" section of this forum. Let me know in case you want any more pics. Encouraging comments always help!

Best regards,
Siddharth

Yes...it seems it was you! But it's always nice to learn new things. I haven't found out about the drains. Let me know in case you get hold of any information.

[quote=wasif;1674702]Hi Guys.

The immcaulately restored 30's Chevy Tourer is indeed a treat to the eyes, one point though is the mascot on the radiator cap, looks like it is from a Ford !

The green Stower is an interesting car. Are the rims original to it or are they Ford Model A rims ?

My sentiments exactly.

Friends,
Ignoring a few minor oversights, I think a fantastic show with the cars painstakingly brought back to (better than?) prime. Definitely the commitment and dedication is exemplary.
You guys deserve the cake, and the icing too; but the cherry goes to Wasif and Harit for their immense knowledge and experience.

Ciao

Oh Dear Perak.

I wish I had that cherry you speak of !

Cars and car stuff have been my passion as far back as I can remember.

In my opinion the Stoewer would most likely have come with artillery wheels of a size for which tires were not easily available hense the move to the Ford rims.

You can see the originals were a bit bigger that the current items going by the gap over the current tire and the rear mudguard.
