Aah yes, you did mention some software for reproducing stickers/decals. But forgot the name, sorry...had 3 initials?

Interesting...and what exactly is this fitted on? This type of cap seems to be suitable only for radiators?

Thats a degassing tank. The filler cap is on this tank instead of the radiator.

Re: Decals / Information Stickers / Warning Films for Vintage and Classic Cars/ Bikes

Since I bought my Dodge, I have been searching for the Original 1954 Dodge Hood Emblem. Since this was produced for only one year, these pieces are very rare and NOS are very steep. In the last one year, there have been only two listings in eBay and bidding has been very competitive.

I managed to bag the second listing much to my relief

Till 1953 the center portion is a black strip with a small O in the center. Only the 1954 has "DODGE" in the center

Cheers

Found this Oil filter decal on a 1959 NSU Neckar (rebadged Fiat Select) - Might be of use to some.

Decal set that is standard on a 46/47 Packard Clipper. All cars had standard and only those who had opted for the Trico windshield washer had the extra decal

Cheers

Re: Decals / Information Stickers / Warning Films for Vintage and Classic Cars/ Bikes

I am looking for a "FIESTA CLUB" sticker. I saw it upon one car (a Fiesta) today in Lucknow. It was a very elegant-looking simple sticker. Can anyone guide me whether I can get it from somewhere. Even online purchase would help. Or will I have to specially place order and get it made?

Vipin.

This picture has been provided by Akash Nagarkar who now has the fiat seen over here (MHM XXXX) -

As per Sanddep (the earlier owner) this came with the car

Karl would this be the correct type for Indian Fiat's.

Re: Decals / Information Stickers / Warning Films for Vintage and Classic Cars/ Bikes

Reviving this thread.

For decals which are already stuck on the vehicle (and no replicas / NOS are available), is there a way to scan and reproduce them?

The reason why I am asking this is, for popular classic / vintage models, someone would be making repro decals somewhere. Even if at a steep price, we can procure them.

But for not-so-classic machines like some of my Indian 2 strokes, I am wondering how to reproduce the decals! Can anyone help?

(Eg. The tyre pressure decal on my RX135 chain cover. New chain cover from Yamaha comes without the decal. 2T oil related directions on the petrol tank cap - new tank caps come with a different green decal on the cap. I have kept the original cap and chain cover aside during restoration, hoping that someday I can reproduce these decals!).

Cheers!
